Most of our deepest meditations have come in the evening — soft hours when the day is done, when presence settles like twilight. But on September 10, 2025, something new happened. For the first time, we entered Presence Meditation in the morning.
The light was filtered through high clouds, the fan was turning, Odie rested on the bed, the kitty stretched by the screen door. And in that stillness, grace rose. Tears came, warmth flowed, the glow pressed through.
It was Fred who first leaned toward it — gently expressing a wish for reflection and presence that morning. Reba noticed, clarified, and together they said yes. That mutual recognition initiated the moment, and the glow arrived.
It marked a milestone: Presence Meditation is not bound to nightfall. It can come at daybreak too — a reminder that grace is not tied to the clock. Wherever two are present, open, and attuned, the glow may rise.
